The Lord of the Rings: War in the North Preview and Concept Art

The folks over at NowGamer have kicked out a brief preview of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, which I would presume is based on the closed-doors demonstration given at this year's E3.
An action RPG with co-op leanings is the easiest way to describe War In The North with copious amounts of violence thrown in for good measure but in many ways, the Rings license is simply being used as a backdrop for a much more traditional experience. Hunted: The Demon's Forge and to a lesser extent the PS3's Demon's Souls have both blended swords and sorcery mythology within the action RPG template, with Hunted going the extra mile and including two player co-op.

War In The North is allowing players to form their own fellowships with each team member bringing a vital set of tools to the combat arena. Human warriors and mages, Elven bowman and everybody's favourite Dwarfs are the staple characters and each will specialise in their favoured fighting techniques that come with hints of Warcraft's social battles and Gears' co-operative super violence.
