Joystiq has gotten their hands on an 83-second video showcasing some wintery combat footage from Fable III. As you watch the hero using a combination of melee, ranged, and spell attacks to save Ula the Villager from a pack of wolves, you'll notice that the game looks very similar to Fable II. Apparently the transition between the different attacks will be much smoother for the player this time around, but it's tough to tell to what extent that will be the case from just this one video.
