Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta DLC Reviews

The weekend brings us a few more Mothership Zeta reviews, just in case you're still debating on whether or not to pick up the game's final DLC.

Koku Gamer goes with an 8.6/10:
Mothership Zeta fits somewhere in the middle of all the DLCs. It isn't the bang Bethesda was hoping to go out with that they would've with Broken Steel or Point Lookout but it's definitely better than Operation: Anchorage and it manages to nudge out The Pitt. The combat is thrilling, the story is exciting, the setting is cool, and the weapons and items are awesome. That said, the armor is almost non-existent, the weapons aren't quite as powerful as we'd all hoped for (as well as limited in their use), the design of the DLC is ridiculous in terms of exploration, and just about everything else has some flaws here and there. Still though, it was an overall good piece of DLC and a chance to experience Fallout's take on aliens from the era in which Fallout is derived. Mothership Zeta is worth a look and while there are some frustrating aspects about it, it has enough going for it to balance things out.

Spong doesn't tag it with a score:
eality and verisimilitude, so longed for by the geek fraternity, isn't a heroic victory or a cruel martyrdom, it's endless corridors and faceless others. It isn't entertainment. And neither is Mothership Zeta, sadly.

Vegas, the next Fallout setting, looms on the horizon, buffeted by heat haze, the most surreal of all our dimension's realms.Mothership Zeta's proved, listlessly, the truth is out there. Now let's hope a bit of Vegas unreality can inject some fun back into the series.

And Over The Top Gamer tags it with a "B":
For 800MP is I think this pack is worth it but like I said before only if you have played and liked some of the other packs. I'd say get Broken Steel first because of the it will extent your game and give you the freedom to complete the story. Then get Point Lookout because it's the best DLC. Then out of the last three just pick which ever, you'll get something from all of them.
