Mass Effect Galaxy to Unlock Mass Effect 2 Content?

According to Michele EA are looking into ways to reward gamers who play the iDevice game by providing them with some kind of special unlock or additional content in Mass Effect 2. Given that no solid details could be offered it seems this is still to be locked down but there are many possible applications (an exclusive weapon or story line thread?). In terms of how this would work in practice it was suggested that a code could be generated within Mass Effect Galaxy which could then be redeemed on Xbox Live.Since the iPhone isn't even available in my state, it would be very annoying if this ends up becoming a reality.
