Hellforge's Top 10 Ways Diablo II Can Be Improved

We don't know much about Blizzard's upcoming v1.13 patch for Diablo II, so the guys at Hellforge have taken it upon themselves to offer up some suggestions for what should be included in the update. A couple I definitely agree with:
1. Rebalanced & Redesigned Skills

As it is in the game. a large portion of the game's skills are relatively without use, and remain weak compared to the few skills which dominate each class's skill selection.

Many users voiced that they would like to see underused skills like the Paladin's Vengeance ability, the Necromancer's golems, and the Amazon's elemental bow attacks receive complete overhauls so that they would see equal use to the usual 'cookie-cutter' builds and be just as viable to play.

6. Removal of 90-Day Character Storage Limit

At present, characters are deleted from accounts if they remain inactive for more than 90 days. When Diablo II was first developed, it was argued that characters took up storage space on Blizzard's servers.

It's been many years since then and storage has become a moot issue at this point. Characters could be stored on accounts indefinitely without causing too much of a burden on space and bandwidth requirements.
