Fallout 3 Broken Steel DLC Reviews

The new week kicks off with another batch of favorable reviews for Bethesda's third set of DLC for Fallout 3.

The first is at AtomicGamer with a score of 85%:
Now we've heard that a fourth DLC pack might be on the way and so far it's just been unconfirmed rumor, but it seems likely we'll see more. At the same time, Bethesda probably can't (or at least shouldn't) keep this up, adding new chunks and pieces to the game that don't even sit on the regular Capital Wasteland map. While Obsidian Entertainment is working on the new spinoff game Fallout: New Vegas, the team that's currently working on Fallout 3 DLC - assuming they're not moving on to Bethesda's next big project - should probably work on a real expansion pack of some kind, like Shivering Isles for Oblivion. Until then, though, I think you'll have a good time in finishing off the Enclave in Broken Steel.

The second is at IncGamers with a score of 8.2/10:
The release of the level cap is a major bonus and adds dimension with the addition of new perks as you progress, whilst the new weapons, armour and enemies definitely freshen the whole experience up. If you have been holding off purchasing any of the DLC, then go and buy this now, trust me you wont regret it.

The third is at Britxbox with a score of 8/10:
Broken Steel without a doubt represents the best value for money if you're looking to pick up an expansion for Fallout 3. It may not be as creatively ambitious as Operation Anchorage, but it is a tight and consistent experience as well as providing incentive to carry on exploring the wastelands of Washington DC.

And the fourth is at Extreme Gamer with a score of 8.0/10:
The value is apparent when looking over what the Broken Steel content has to offer, and more than just extra content, Bethesda went above the call of duty to figure out how to fix a few of the major complaints with the original game. This makes Broken Steel a must-have for gamers who can't get enough of Fallout 3. Fallout 3 is an excellent title already, and now with three additional motives to get back into the grungy atmosphere of the Wasteland, it's hard to say no. Out of all the content that has been released for Fallout 3, Broken Steel is by far the most valuable. So if you still want more life out of Fallout 3, pick up this perk and continue your travels in the wasteland.
