Elven Legacy Reviews

Paradox and 1C:Ino-Co's Elven Legacy is the subject of a few more mediocre to favorable reviews across the web.

First up is Games Radar with a score of 7/10:
The devs have responded to the criticisms leveled at precursor Fantasy Wars but flaws remain. Legacy is difficult, even on Easy, and would have benefited from play testing by casual gamers. The Gold, Silver and Bronze challenges to unlock extra content are frustratingly tough and the plot borders on the cheesy. Even so, this offers sufficient substance and challenge in a nostalgic, turn-based package reminiscent of the earlier days of gaming.

Then The Adrenaline Vault comes in with a 3/5:
While I don't yet consider myself a dyed-in-the-wool strategy gamer, I feel the games growing on me. Elven Legacy did a good job of pulling me in, which is no small feat, but I must say that if you're not as far along (or farther) than I am in your acceptance of the genre, then you might want to find something a little more impressive. There are just bigger and more delicious fish out there to fry.

And Resolution finishes things off with an 80%:
Overall, Elven legacy is a great package for TBS fans - but if that's not you then I'd probably give this one a miss, as it probably won't win any fans for being so damn hard. In fact, I've gone to the trouble of producing a little cut-out and keep guide that you could stick in the game manual over the part about the difficulty settings.
