A random blog entry reasons why it's good to be a PC gamer by doing one of those start-of-the-year PC game round-ups. Always a good idea to check such lists out to refresh yourself on what's coming and see what might slip under the radar.

PC exclusives include the English release of Drakensang: The Dark Eye, Not the Time for Dragons, RPG/adventure Deathspank, Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships, Warrior Epic, Eschalon: Book II, NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate, Age of Decadence, The Broken Hourglass, King's Bounty: The Princess, Dungeon Party, Legends of Zork and Seeker. It also lists Kivi's Underworld and Wizard 101, but those are already out.

Multiplatform titles include Dragon Age: Origins, Alpha Protocol, Divinity 2, Risen, Borderlands, DC Universe Online, Overlord 2, Venetica, Arcania: A Gothic Tale, Champions Online and Deus Ex 3.

If all these titles hit in 2009, though that looks unlikely, we'll certainly not want for quantity this year.
