Fallout 3 Operation: Anchorage Reviews

Bethesda's recently released Operation: Anchorage DLC for Fallout 3 is the subject of two more online reviews. The first is at UGO with no score:
There's a fun surprise after your complete the simulation and make sure to investigate the surrounding area. Once you're done, it's back to the dusty ole wasteland with this new kick ass power armor and somewhat useless hybrid sniper gun. Still, unlike poor Augustus, I got to swim in my river of joy (which is way cooler since it runs red with the blood of fictional Chinese communists) and come out on my own terms. I'd suggest you do the same. Waiting until March isn't a bad idea if you can, but, from where I sit, why would you want to?

Next stop Steel Town.

And the second is at WorthPlaying with a score of 9.0/10:
Even without the nuclear weapon-chucking bag of bolts, Operation: Anchorage is an impressive piece of content and is highly recommended for those looking for a good excuse to get the Fallout 3 disc spinning in the tray once more. The way the missions unfold within the VR exercise really gives you a sense that you're playing a game that isn't Fallout, yet it's using the exact same engine. I mean this as a high compliment, though, as it shows that Bethesda really has what it takes when it comes to adding even more content to an already massive game. You should really buy this before Bethesda catches on that $10 is too cheap for something offering this much content, enjoyment and fun.
