Fable II Interview

videogaming247 has interviewed Peter Molyneux and is presenting it in its usual fragmented fashion. The Fable II co-op patch may end up hitting on launch day.
(Now, I can't absolutely confirm that at the moment. It's all going well. It's looking like it should be spot on for that. It is down to a few minor little things, and we're pretty close.)

Molyneux added: (This is purely me as a guessing man - remember, I haven't been in the office for quite some time - but it's all looking good to be a day one patch.)
Fable II was supposed to look as though it was (done by Ridley Scott).
(The idea behind that is that Microsoft understand Ridley Scott, they understand that this means that we wanted to mature the franchise a little bit. Not losing its charm, but basically trying to grow it up ever so slightly,) he said.
Fable II co-op was only possible thanks to Live's structure.
(Some of the stuff in Fable II we're doing with co-op is only possible because of the way that Live is structured. I love playing around with that stuff as a designer.

(Whereas PS3 doesn't seem to be quite so mature on that side. They haven't got quite the same infrastructure and service but, you know, yeah, I'd love to get games on every platform.)
