Puzzle Quest: Galactrix E3 Preview

1up takes a really short look at Puzzle Quest: Galactrix.
While we absolutely adore the original Puzzle Quest, Galactrix needs to address two major issues: a lack of freedom with regard to character development, and (at least on the PC version) highly deficient multiplayer matchmaking. The first game offered no opportunity to respec a character; your choices were set in stone, and if you were new to the game, it was entirely possible to wind up with a very unoptimized character several dozen hours in. And -- despite a welcome digital release via Steam -- the PC version of Puzzle Quest offered no in-game lobby or other matchmaking capabilities, rendering multiplayer mode an afterthought at best. If Galactrix solves these two problems while retaining everything we loved about the first game, it's as good as gold.
