The latest image on Blizzard Entertainment's teaser splash page makes it pretty obvious that we're looking at a pair of demonic eyes behind the ice. I don't think they belong to the Lich King, so now it's just a matter of waiting until tomorrow's Diablo III announcement.

In other news, we now have the full evil penguin image. I'm not really sure how that fits in, though.
