Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Interviews

Massively.com and MMOSite.com have both kicked up new Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures interviews. The interview at Massively.com is with Jørgen Tharaldsen:
Does Age of Conan lean more towards PvP or PvE content? What would you say is the overall ratio?

A: With Conan we have really tried to make the best of both worlds, and you will both find a lot of PvE content and a lot of PvP content. We know that MMO gamers can't be pinned down to one specific group of people so we have just tried to ensure that you get really good gameplay regardless of what your preference is. (and yes, we are aware of the dangers of trying to please everyone and making no one happy but still, we have hopefully found the right balance)

The ratio cannot be given as a lot of the content is dynamic, and i.e. on the free for all PvP servers the ratio is naturally a bit different than on the PvE servers.

While the interview at MMOSite.com is with Erling Ellingsen:
You have been making improvements to the siege battle system in Age of Conan. What does the system look like now? What are the most important improvements you have made to the system?

A: We certainly have, the siege system is shaping up to be an incredible experience. Just today I was looking through some of the current interface implementations for the siege system. This might not be what we end up with in the final build of the game, but right now it's basically this calendar where you choose when your battlekeep is vulnerable and other guilds will be able to come in and attack your battlekeep in that timeframe. Your guild will get points based on how their siege is going. Kill an enemy player and you might get one point. Burn down one of their buildings and you might get fifty! It's an incredibly intense and rewarding experience, and it's very social. Well, social in the way of killing each other brutally and dancing on your enemies corpses while you get dead drunk.
