Overlord Reviews

The new week kicks off with a trio of semi-favorable reviews for Codemasters and Triumph Studios' Overlord. The first is at Gameguru Mania with an overall score of 80%:
Despite the horrible camera, lack of a map, insane amount of backtracking and clunky minion controls, Overlord is a great, innovative and fun game and I hope there's a sequel.

The second is at Fragland with an overall score of 81.5%:
Overlord might be a RPG, but not one as we know them (I might even dare to state that his game eves takes the genre on a wild spin through ridiculous-ville). No over-serious storyline, no main character with a hero status, . Humor is the card played here and that's very refreshing. Overlord is truly worth playing!

And the third is at Boomtown with an overall score of 7/10:
Ultimately, the game provides plenty of enjoyment, and sits very happily on the 360, slotting itself in as a console game well. Plus, who doesn't enjoy a bit of mindless destruction, and a justification to empathise with the '˜other side'?
