Overlord Reviews

A handful of new reviews for Codemasters and Triumph Studios' Overlord are now available, and they're all fairly positive. The first is at Talk Xbox with an overall score of 84/100:
Codemasters and Triumph Studios did a wonderful job with the development of Overlord. What you get is a genuine attempt to deliver something fresh and different. Controlling an army of minions was both fun and rewarding. The evil humor and richly detailed world keep me fastened to my chair for hours at a time totally immersed within the game. Overlord isn't without its problems though. A bit more time in the incubator could have solved some of the bugs present in the retail game but none of them pull me from away from the greatness in Overlord.

The second is at Benchmark Reviews with an overall score of 8/10:
Overlord is just a great and fun game. If you enjoy RPG/RTS games and love to laugh, don't wait another second. Go to the nearest store and spoil yourself with a copy of Overlord, you won't be disappointed. Just keep in mind: Evil is only a point of view.

The third is at Gamer Within with an overall score of 7.8/10:
If you're looking for something a little different, Overlord is worth a look. Its light-hearted presentation, solid gameplay and decent story is a refreshing change from the usual aurora of action-adventure games to grace our consoles over recent times.

And the fourth is at Boomtown with an overall score of 7/10:
...control niggles aside this is a great game. There's imagination in the storyline, context and setting, humour throughout and plenty of fun to be had. Go on, give in to the dark side.
