World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Reviews

Another pair of reviews for Blizzard's newly released World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade expansion pack have surfaced on the 'net. The first is at GamingTrend with an overall score of 92%:
I was wowed over, no pun intended, when I first entered these new lands. I have only been able to play a couple of hours and still finding new things to gaze upon and marvel. There's so much ahead of me it is nearly daunting, but I look forward to the road ahead and flowers to smell so long as I don't have to fight them too hard. Blizzard has outdone itself with the new content that took years to build and probably a dedicated team a couple weeks to conquer in the most streamlined of fashions. It is somewhat troublesome to have to pay for a whole new game when in fact this is only a partial extension. Yet since the monthly does not change one can not really gripe too loudly for the privileges therein.

And the second is at Voodoo Extreme with an overall score of 8.5/10:
I could go on and on about the expansion, but I tried to stick with the main points, and also include the gripes I have with the game. Yet when all is said and done, TBC takes the existing game we all love (or hate) and extends that out for another ten levels with new content, fixes and improvements. That, of course, is exactly what WoW fans wanted…"more". No, Blizzard didn't offer a whole lot of "totally new" game dynamics or feature additions here (Arena and flying being the two main exceptions). No, it didn't improve (or improve enough) a few flaws that I mentioned above. But if you were happy with the game before, you will love the expansion...at least for a few months.
