Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Reviews

Both Games Radar and GameSpy have written up their own reviews of Ubisoft and Arkane Studios' newly released Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Games Radar gave the game an overall score of 8/10:
The only real beef we have is that the XP system means it's never long before a few veteran players have pumped up their characters and become virtually untouchable, clubbing everyone else like baby seals. But it's empowering if you're one of the vets, to be sure. At the end of the day, for action, role-playing and shooter fans alike, neither of these components should be missed. Highly recommended.

While GameSpy gave the game an overall score of 3/5:
It's easy to be disappointed with Dark Messiah, given that it had so much potential. There is absolutely some compelling content in here, though you'll frequently have to exhibit a good deal of patience if you want to enjoy it. As for the multiplayer, well, it's anyone's guess what till happen once fans get their hands on the SDK. Right now, though, Dark Messiah's multiplayer is little more that a novelty. Still, it's hard to deny that the game has some immensely enjoyable moments. It's just too bad that they're too often surrounded by so much clutter.
