Mage Knight: Apocalypse Reviews

A trio of new reviews for Namco's Mage Knight: Apocalypse have surfaced, though they're all fairly critical. The first is at Computer Games Romania with an overall score of 44/100:
Even if you can escape the stupidity of the AI, you can't avoid the other shortcomings of the game. And it's a shame, because the story is not that bad and the graphics are sometimes enchanting. However, I seriously doubt that Mage Knight Apocalypse will be appealing to even the most hardcore WizKids fans. NAMCO BANDAI Games America has entered the PC market the wrong way and I just hope that this won't be the fate of Snoopy vs. the Red Baron and Warhammer: Mark of Chaos.

The second is at Gameworld Network with an overall score of 73%:
At the end of the day, however, Mage Knight is like returning to a game that you played years ago in a lot of ways. It's like returning to a good game from a while back, to be sure, and there's nothing wrong with that for a lot of folks. Play it if you're especially fond of the fantasy genre or if you're among the geekiest of geeks who is a fan of the Mage Knight franchise.

And the third is at The Armchair Empire with an overall score of 6.5/10:
I can forgive Namco Bandai for this one, if only for giving us the enormously fun and underrated Sniper Elite a while back, but Mage Knights Apocalypse feels like a half-hearted effort in a saturated genre that won't be keeping the folks at Blizzard up at night.
