Mythic Entertainment Interview, Part One

GamerGod has published the first installment of a new interview with Mythic Entertainment's Sanya Thomas/Weathers and Scott Jennings about Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer Online. An excerpt:
Q: So what's going on with Mythic these days?

A: We're in the middle of a cycle of development. We just launched Darkness Rising, which is our first digital download expansion pack, it is way cool. In addition to the usual expansion type things such as new quests and content and other assorted goodness we just revamped the three capital cities of each realm so that they look 2005 instead of 2001. We finally added the player horses that we've been meaning to add for years now and they've got barding and armor and saddlebags and they're awesome. People are playing it. It was our second best launch in terms of downtime. The main bugs we had actually had nothing to do with the expansion, they had everything to do with our four year anniversary celebration. We had a crazy bug that we couldn't have caught in beta that crashed the servers, it was pretty dramatic, but we had a good time.
