Yahoo! Games is reporting that Electronic Arts Japan will be discontinuing service for LucasArts' Star Wars Galaxies. According to the article, players in the affected area will be migrated to servers in the United States and Europe.

While other games are expanding across the globe, it seems like the future of the Star Wars MMORPG grows continually grim.
