Turbine, Inc. announced today that over 125,000 players have officially joined the Dungeons & Dragons® Online: Stormreach™ Alpha program, but only a few thousand players have been allowed entry into the Alpha due to limited space. The Alpha program is a unique opportunity to play the first massively-multiplayer online game (MMO) directly inspired by the most legendary role-playing game ever made, Dungeons & Dragons®. The massive enthusiasm for the game was underscored in a recent survey of MMO players by IGN Entertainment which ranked Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach as (the most anticipated upcoming MMO) in the industry.
