Dark Messiah is being built on the Source engine, and as such, it looks pretty good. Although not to the graphical acuity of Half-Life 2, Dark Messiah is already sporting some nice lighting effects. The light play isn't just a graphical touch, either, as you can use the dark shadows to hide from enemies. Another nice effect we noticed during the demo was sparks flying off the weapons as they crashed into one another.
