Auto Assault Interview

TenTonHammer has conducted an interview with NetDevil's Scott "Scorch" Brown, in which the president and technical director answers fifteen questions about their upcoming post-apocalyptic vehicular MMORPG, Auto Assault. A snippet:
Q: The driving aspect of the game has people wondering if twitch skills will be important. Will they, or is combat handled in a more conventional RPG fashion using skill numbers, etc.?

A: Both. We are really trying to create a unique experience that combines twitch skills with RPG dice rolls in combat. Basically you have weapon arcs for each gun, which we refer to as TacArcs, that represent the possible targets you could hit with your weapons when you fire. The players able to keep their targets in these arcs are going to have more opportunity for damage. Once you pull the trigger, it is a dice roll based on your character attributes and item statistics as well as the statistics of your target that determine if you hit and for how much damage.
