Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees Reviews

With Episode III setting records in theaters, it comes as no surprise that LucasArts' Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees expansion is the subject of three positive reviews. The first is at UGO with an overall score of "A":
Rage of the Wookies is a highly recommended addition if you are already a current SWG subscriber, and with the Combat Upgrade, Star War Galaxies is now delivering the experience players expected long ago but didn't find. It took some time for the MMO to reach this state, and the wait was long and at times frustrating. The end result, while not flawless, is definitely worthy of the Star Wars name.

The second is at Game Vortex with an overall score of 88%:
Though it's a blatant movie-tie in, Rage of Wookies does introduce some much needed content for veteran players. There are still issues and bugs to iron out, but the overall experience makes up for the nagging little issues.

And the third is at GameZone with an overall score of 8.5/10:
The new combat model, the tighter fit with the movies and the challenge of the new world all combine to make this an enjoyable gaming experience. The game looks solid and plays well. While those who have not taken to the Jump to Lightspeed expansion may feel a little forced to do so (and make sure you have the right ship), the game combines new missions that drive the story and give players a much better sense of being part of the Star Wars universe.
