Star Wars: KotOR II Reviews

A trio of new reviews for Obsidian's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II hit the web earlier this week. The first is at GameZone with an overall score of 8.9/10:
KOTOR 2 is a great game that lives up to its lofty predecessor. However, the game isn't revolutionary and sticks very closely to the original in terms of gameplay, meaning that if for one reason or another you weren't a fan of the first Knights of the Old Republic, then you probably won't care much for the second one. This is unlikely, though, as the first game was a masterpiece.

The second is at Gamer-Talk with an overall score of 8.7/10:
Overall this game is more like an extension of the original KoTOR, rather than a true sequel, and is just as satisfying to play. Definitely worth your money, but it leaves you feeling like some more effort could've been made to fix the game a little more. Bring on the third!

And the third is at Into Liquid Sky with an overall score of "B":
With all these issues and complaints, the fact that The Sith Lords is still worth your time to play speaks volumes. If you enjoyed the first title, you're sure to enjoy the sequel. I would have to state that if you haven't played the first game, you may not get into this title as easily. I do hope that by the time KotOR III rolls around, the developer will have a lot of the issues that plagued this game resolved.
