EverQuest: Dragons of Norrath First Impressions

IGN PC is offering up their first impressions of EverQuest: Dragons of Norrath, now that the expansion has hit store shelves. Check it out:
Early in the game's life, it was common sense for a non-priest/non-knight to be agnostic. Then Sony introduced very nice player-made armor for specific deities, especially warriors, and the agnostics steamed. Sony aims to balance that with some new gear for the unbelieving.

Cultural armor will require fewer combines to make and have room for three augmentations. Currently, almost all armor has room for one augmentation, two if you are lucky and three if you are in a top-level guild raiding the hardest content in the game. But now you can make cultural armor with several augment slots.

Finally, there will be a potion belt and bandolier for all players, giving them a little more room for quick access. The potion belt is the perfect place to put potions, modulation rods and other stuff that gets buried in backpacks. You can now set up a hotkey to get at them really fast, so you don't need to go digging through backpacks in the middle of a raid.
