Ion Storm Shuts Down

It's a sad, sad day indeed. GameSpot is reporting that Ion Storm, the studio behind the Deus Ex and Thief franchises, has officially been shut down. The company's demise has been rumored for some time, but it wasn't until today that officials from Eidos Interactive confirmed the studio's closure. Does this mean we'll never see a Deus Ex III?
