Lineage II Reviews

Two somewhat positive reviews for NCsoft's Lineage II have made their way to the web. The first is at IC-Games with an overall score of 73%:
Overall, Lineage II is a game that looks stunning, and if that is what you look for in your games then it will appeal; however there just seems to be something missing from the game when you compare it to others. That along with the ridiculous time you have to spend running the update at the start really does detract from the game. There are people that will enjoy this title, indeed you can meet them online, but I would suggest thinking deeply before digging into your pocket for this title, there are plenty of others out there, with more character development and more gaming enjoyment.

And the second is at World Zero with an overall score of 8.2/10:
While the concept behind Lineage 2 is admirable, the game just plays too slow for it's own good. All the elements are here to make a truly outstanding RPG, but the game is marred by its strict lack of tangible rewards. There is no instant gratification here. You have to earn your keep and be extremely dedicated to your on-screen persona. If that sounds up your alley, then Lineage 2 is most likely your RPG of choice. It honestly doesn't get more hardcore than this.
