The game is overall no different from your run o' the mill RPG, you choose a class of character amongst the 6 available characters and you go out with friends to complete missions. There were choices of Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Mesmer, Elementalist, and Necromancer. As you probably guessed, each profession excels in a certain trait. Warriors are good for fighting, Rangers are your archers and animal charmers, Monks are the basic healers, Mesmers deal damage by using magic to subdue other magic users, Elementalists use the forces of nature to inflict pain, and Necromancers use black magic and undead followers to dish out the hurt.
