Star Wars: KotOR II's Dark Side & Force Powers

Two new features for Obsidian's Star Wars: KotOR II have been posted at IGN PC, including a closer look at the Dark Side and a movie showing off sixteen of the game's force powers. A snippet from the former:
Nar Shaddaa is ruled by the Hutts and the Exchange. Everyone has something to prove there, and the strong prey on the weak -- no sooner had we touched down before two thugs approached me, looking to strip me of my credits and my ship. I could have scared them off, but I decided to give their minds a little push... and make them think jumping off the dock platform would be the best way to get to the ground - even if it took them a few miles to hit it. (2 Dark Side points).

Nar Shaddaa is a bustling, crime-filled planet, and the player will either thrive there, or be overrun by the criminal element. When dealing with some of the Hutts' henchmen, it may be possible to use your power to convince them that their life of crime isn't worth it. Of course, if you've had enough of them, you can simply provoke them into a fight, and them finish them off using offensive Force powers such as Force Choke), Force Lightning, or the neutral Force Power -- Force Push, which is seen begin used on the thug here. At this point in the game, the character is becoming a powerful Force wielder, and has already obtained his lightsaber.
