Falgarholm, home to the Half-giants, lies nestled in the northeastern mountains of Thestra. Unlike many of the other cities in Thestra, Falgarholm has an extremely long history of being inhabited by half-giants. There are places where, among the newer constructions, one can still see obvious parts of older buildings, the remains of which have been used as the foundation for the new.
Unlike many of the other races of Thestra, Half-Giants haven't been forced to migrate from their homes by the wars that have taken place on Thestra. This could be directly related to Falgarholm's location in the Northeastern mountains of Thestra, in the furthest area possible from land-based invaders from the southern areas of the continent. Much like their city, the Half-giants maintain close ties to their past, and are very proud of their ancestry, bloodlines and history. To outsiders, the most obvious tie the Half-giants have to the past are their 8 to 9 feet in height, and their powerful, muscular builds. These are both traits passed down to the Half-giants from their giant ancestors.
