Star Wars: KotOR II Preview

The guys at Gamers.com have put together a preview of Star Wars: KotOR II, based upon what we know of the RPG sequel thus far. Here's a little something to get you started:
The first KOTOR was a feast for the eyes as well as the ears, and while the jury's still out concerning KOTOR II's voice talent, the graphics have definitely been improved, though not drastically. The changes are subtle, and if you're not looking for them or remember much about the first game they may go unnoticed. For starters, all of the characters are more detailed. Where in the first game everyone looked very stiff, the character models actually have facial animations that help to draw out their emotions. An example of this is a screen I saw of a female character brandishing a light saber, her eyebrows furrowed and her teeth clenched, obviously angry and ready to defend herself. Also, there are a much wider array of battle animations, so instead of watching the characters walk up to enemies and do variations of the same standing slash, they'll twist through the air and do back flips before striking down their foes. As for the game's environments, things still look like the original KOTOR but the level of detail has been bumped up ever so slightly.
