Q: How did your company come up with the idea of purchasing Horizons from Artifact?
A: It really was a cascade of events that got us to this point. Again, it is all about positive relationships. I have been playing various computer and electronic games for years, so have my kids. I heard about the launch of Horizons and all the buzz that was associated with it. We bought a few copies at launch and have been playing ever since. A few months ago I was introduced to a member of the Artifact Entertainment executive team; we began a discussion that lead to them reaching out for my help in a few specific strategic areas - strictly as a consultant, let me add. That brings us to this point.
