Yet More Fable Reviews

Two more reviews of Big Blue Box's Fable crept up on us this weekend, both of which are extremely positive. The first is at Gaming Headlines with an overall score of 9/10 and their "Gold Award":
A lot of material obviously had to be cut out of Fable in order to get it released at all, and this is evident by story scenes that show what was once likely planned to be playable. Even if the final product lacks some of the original promised features, and is a lot more linear, Fable is still an excellent action-RPG, and deserves to be in any major Xbox fan's collection. Do yourself a favour and pick it up, and take your time playing through it. You'll be glad you did.

And the second is at My Guy Games with an overall score of 9.2/10:
Overall a review of either playing good or evil would not do this title justice. While it does not earn a perfect score due to the short storyline, the game offers plenty to keep you occupied for quite some time on your quest for glory. Peter Molyneux' vision has prevailed in Fable and is a welcome addition to any gamers' collection. Fart in the woods, kick a chicken, find yourself a spouse and get hitched, Fable offers it all. Enjoy the butterflies; Fable is the RPG of the year for the Xbox.
