As with the previous Shadowbane expansion, Throne of Oblivion opens up new regions for player adventure. A desolate wasteland ruled by the Lich-Queen Ithriana, the Isle of Oblivion is a place of dread. The Vampires who inhabit the realm are become her devoted servants, and their dark dwellings dot the stark landscape. Other foul creatures, born of dark sorcery, prowl the land. They hunt the living, seeking to slay another soul and swell the ranks of the unholy. New creatures and adventuring zones, all featuring graphic improvements, make the new Island a visually exciting and terrifying place for players to explore and conquer.
