All in all I can't say that it felt like I was playing anything groundbreaking. The graphics are simplistic and dated. Gameplay wise we have all been here before in the likes of Diablo and Baldurs Gate or indeed the original Divine Divinity. This game does have the feel of an expansion pack about it rather than a true sequel, which may account for the fact that the full version will also have a random map and quest generator included. How exciting this will be after playing the game itself remains to be seen. Also included will be a novel by Rhianna Pratchett, so at least if you get really bored you can have something to read.
