Nothing is Built in Vain

The Adrenaline Vault has put together a new article entitled "Nothing is Built in Vain," in which they discuss Microsoft's decision to cancel Mythica, among other things. Check it out:
I wrote earlier that no creative endeavor fails to leave a positive mark on the world. Yet time and time again, we invest our hope in projects that, like Mythica, never come to fruition. Where's the good in that? Let's start with the developers who were attached to Microsoft's cancelled RPG. By all accounts, the Mythica team consisted of talented, industrious developers and programmers who were striving to push the envelop of their genre. Innovation is an expensive, taxing process, and even though they weren't able to bring their project to completion, they've got valuable experience under their belts. What's more, like hope, their ideas and objectives will hopefully spring eternal. I believe we'll hear again from the men and women who struggled to give birth to Mythica, and that their future efforts will have a greater chance at success because of what happened.
