Heaps of extra potent and multitalented D&D monsters not seen in the earlier game populate Dark Alliance II. The first monsters you must vanquish are pure cannon fodder about as powerful as a stalk of wheat. From then on, you need to make many strategic decisions about how to handle certain monsters, particularly the bosses. And, speaking of bosses, there seem to be more of them in Dark Alliance II.
