Two Dungeons & Dragons Heroes Reviews

A pair of Dungeons & Dragons Heroes reviews have hit the web, with one surfacing at Telefragged and the other showing up at GameSpy. The one at Telefragged came in at 85%:
This is a hack and slash game at its core, although you may find that with the easy switching of special attacks and spells, a more tactics-oriented approach will bring you victory (at least when compared to BG:DA). You'll traverse all kinds of environments, from swamps to cliffsides, arctic mountains to some very classic D&D-style dungeons. The enemies are highly varied, many of which come in different variations with their own specialized attacks.

And the one at GameSpy comes in at 4/5 stars:
D&D Heroes is both a souped-up Gauntlet and a stripped-down Dark Alliance; it's not as pretty as it should be, but the gameplay is rock-solid, and the multiplayer mode is can't-miss entertainment. If you want a deeper, richer dungeon hack, you'll want to wait for EverQuest: Champions of Norrath and/or Dark Alliance II; otherwise, Heroes will do ya just fine.
