Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide is a good expansion to a great game. You can expect a new campaign and a few new features, but ultimately the depth is lacking. If you can get over some of the more vain and gimmicky features and improvements, you will find Shadows of Undrentide to be an enjoyable experience, if for no other reason then the engrossing single-player campaign.
If you're looking for a bigger load of features, classes, races, etcetera, then you had best hold out for the second planned expansion pack, as the content in Shadows of Undrentide is somewhat limited. Alternatively, you could purchase Shadows of Undrentide and rely on the community and their hundreds of thousands of modules available for download. As it stands today, there are many modules of varying quality available.
