Q: What are some of the cooler new monsters to be included?

A: I think the general consensus is that the coolest one is the Pit Fiend. It's nice to see some more big monsters make appearances. However, most of the new monsters are quite cool: the Basilisk is a six-legged reptilian beast; the Manticore is a fairly large monster with the body of a lion, a humanoid head, and the wings of a dragon; and the new Wyrmlings are cute and deadly.
