The Hacking Rumor Proved False

This weekend a city was completely destroyed on the Scorn server, and a rumor emerged claiming that our Login Servers were hacked. This rumor is completely untrue. The rumor started when a CCR recommended that a player and his guildmates immediately change their passwords when the hacking claim first came in.

This is standard procedure, and excellent advice for any users who regularly share private forums, private messaging, or switch accounts with members of their own guild.

Live Server Maps!

We have a new feature on the Chronicle of Strife that just went live this morning, Dynamic Server Maps which are updated live from the servers! These maps will be automatically updated once per hour. They can be found in the World Maps Database which used to be called the City Database. We also implemented a temorary fix for the Guild Database this morning, to remove duplicate guild entries. The Guild and City database also offer some sorting functionality now.

The Chaos server is still not reporting data back to us for the city and guild reporting. Wolfpack Studios is currently working on that problem, and we will update you when it comes back online.
