The tremors plaguing the lands began to occur less frequently as the century came to a close. Slowly, England began to emerge as a nation made of many small kingdom-like islands. In order to tighten his grip over all the islands, John formed a pact with the emerging druidic powers. Although secretive, the druids became John's greatest ally and by 1204, the year of the last recorded tremor in England, John had an ironclad rule over all his baronies.
