Common Camelot Respec Mistakes

With the introduction of "respeccing" in the latest version of Dark Age of Camelot, Mythic's Sanya Thomas paid a visit to the Camelot Herald to report common mistakes that players have been making when reallocating their points. Here's a full rip from her post:

Customer Service has seen many appeals over the last 5 days regarding the new Skill Respec, and mistakes being made. Please take a moment to read through some of the common mistakes below. We urge you to use caution when respecing your character as you only receive one opportunity to do so.

    1. Cost versus actual skill. The training window shows the cost to train in that particular skill, it is one higher than what you currently have. Make sure you are looking at the spec window for your character to determine your current level of skill. If the training window shows 50 in a particular skill, this is the cost of that skill, and your character window will show 49, which is your current spec level in that skill.

    2. Double check your points. If you think you have extra points, recheck what you currently have. Chances are you haven't fully trained to the level you wish, and you are looking at the training window instead of the spec window for your character.

    3. Take your time. Don't try to get ahead of yourself, you have put a lot of time into building your character. Attempting to speed up your respec by rapidly clicking on a particular skill may cause you to accidentally train incorrectly.
