Q: Roman Empire based games seem to be picking up steam with games like Legion, Praetorians and more on the way. What is it about this timeline that attracts game developers?

A: Rome is one of the greatest civilizations of all time. It has a name recognition value that is unmatched in the world. It has been used as the basis of lots of book series, television episodes, movies, etc. It has inspired writers for generations and will continue to do so. As a writer, it has everything you would look for in a backdrop for a story.
