Greg Zeschuk & Ray Muzyka Interview

And in more Neverwinter news, GameSpy has conducted an interview with Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka of BioWare, where they talk a bit about each aspect of the game: the campaign, the multiplayer, the DM client, and the tools. A snippet:

Q: NWN obviously has a massive following. Have you guys brought over any of the old Neverwinter players (from the old SSI game) and if so, what has their response to the game been?

A: Early on in Neverwinter's development, we heard from the fans who had played the original Neverwinter game, which was an early massively multiplayer game which ran on AOL until the early 90s, and we tried to incorporate some of their suggestions into the design for the game. We definitely have a good number of these fans as part of Neverwinter's community now.

Neverwinter Nights is more of a spiritual sequel to the original AOL game than anything else. Our original vision of Neverwinter had four primary components to it: the single-player game, the multiplayer game, the dungeon master tools, and the toolset. We've stayed very true to that vision.
