Sneak Preview Contest Winners Strike GOLD!
We have great news for you! The Dungeon Siege development team is SO close to bringing DS to its gold code state that we decided rather than send you a sneak preview build, we're going to send you the final code!
What this means is that you will get the exact same game that will be appearing on store shelves in April. This includes the final, retail game on two CDs which are covered in limited edition artwork, as well as a PDF version of the manual. So with this gold version, you'll be able to play multiplayer with anyone who has purchased the boxed copy of Dungeon Siege in stores -- it's the exact same version. As if all that isn't enough, Chris Taylor, being the great guy that he is, has offered to personally sign each and every copy!
Our target date for the contest winners to receive their signed, gold Dungeon Siege CDs is by March 29, before the game hits store shelves. We'll also be scheduling the contest winners' chat with Chris Taylor for early April, after everyone has had a chance to play DS for a little while.
We know the end of March is little longer than you anticipated, but we're confident that you will agree with us that receiving a gold CD of Dungeon Siege is well worth the wait!
