Horizons Developer Profile

After the recent announcement that Matthew Burroughs was promoted to the position of Community Director for Artifact's upcoming MMORPG, Ulairi of Horizons Vault has conducted a developer profile of him, revealing answers to several aspects of his new job:

Ulairi: How do you think Horizons will compare to its competition?

Matthew: I think what is so great about the MMORPGs that are already out, and looking ahead to the newer ones, is that they are all so different because of how new the game genre is and how many man hours it takes to develop and maintain them. They are also so dynamic because the players actually evolve them. With the game able to change and the rules able to bend, you can always get a different gaming experience just by changing how you play. I think there are several special factors about Horizons that will definitely make it a unique experience to play, and I think it will enthrall quite a large number of people. I can't exactly tell you what they are yet though. that will be a surprise for later. The more people that get involved in the storyline, the more complex and deep it can be. Other games on the market use different themes, and will assuredly draw a different crowd based on its theme. I'm glad to see so many of these style games popping up because I think it is definitely the next step in evolution for the computer game.
