Recording the Game Ala AOE Style

I was wondering, if we can make cut scenes with the engine, can the game that is being played also be recorded to be later played back as a movie (Age of Empires 2 record game feature for example) to be watched later? Keeping that special module/campaign as a movie would be awesome.
- Just to update our past posts on this issue, it's a great idea and we've tossed it back and forth as a means of easily generating quality game footage for promotional purposes. Whether it will actually happen is anybody's guess but we're certainly toying with the idea.
