Horizons Interview With David Allen

Myst of MassiveMultiplayer.org dropped us a line today that they have posted up an interview with David Allen, CEO of Artifact Entertainment, about their upcoming MMORPG, Horizons. Here's an excerpt:

Q: One of the big "things" in MMORPGs these days appears to be ability to personalize your character. For example, if, for no particular reason, I wanted to run around the world of Horizons in nothing but a pink tutu and big shoes, would I be able to? What other types of things can I personalize about my character (outside the whole tutu category)?

A: This is where I give Kudos to UO - they (as far as I'm aware) were the first to support such a true character visual customization feature at such an extensive level that it brought 'fashion' into the genre. We are planning on supporting the customization of characters as much as possible - we want people to be able to be recognized by what they wear and what race they are, not solely by the floating name over their head.
